Candace and Kyle made the night golden for friends and family as they celebrated their nuptials at Avalon Manor, with dancing, fine food, a candy table, uplighting, drapery, games and photobooth fun.
Avalon Manor was lit with a yellow hue from uplights splashed against white drapery, as guests walked in to take a seat, grab a drink and admire the decorations.
Yellow sashes and silky grey chair covers were accented by golden flowered centerpieces, some with hanging tea lights. A photobooth sat in the corner as well, complete with funny props and a grey and yellow matching photostrip and color images.
The wedding party was announced and Kyle and Candace walked in to “Turn Down For What” by Lil Jon. Applause broke out as the DJ introduced them as man and wife. The cake was a regal 4 tier yellow and white pearl fondant creation.
Dinner was a scrumptious plated feast of salad, chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes. Later cake and coffee was served, right around the time the candy table was “open for business,” full of yellow candies of every kind.
The pastor blessed the food as folks feasted, and the best man gave a toast about how Candace should always treat her husband like “a dog”, and feed him “three times daily.”
The first dance was to Hank Hayes’s “Wanna Be,” and was soon followed by father-daughter dance and mother-son dances. Through out the night games were played like “The Toilet Paper Game.”
All night long folks danced and hit the photobooth to take funny pictures, keeping one and the other being kept for the bride and groom. Funny props like fireman hats and giant glasses made silly photos come to life.
