Edgar and Rachel’s wedding at the Serbian Social Center in Lansing, IL started off with some giant cookies. Those cookies were complimented by highlighted centerpieces, uplighting, a “because of you” monogram, and a photo booth. 
After the introductions, the bride and groom then cut the 3 tier cake featuring silver scrolls and the bride and groom’s initials, E&R, on the top. The family style dinner consisted of salad, an array of wheat, onion and white rolls, baked chicken, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables and a fascinating single serve lasagna roll. Besides cake and ice cream for desert, the bride and groom continued their E&R theme with giant red heart-shaped cookies with their initials on them in frosting.
The photo booth featured some wild animals such as cat masks and monkey hats. The little ones really enjoyed the photo booth, as did the adults! Each person took home a souvenir photo strip and left one behind in a memory book with a personalized message for the bride and groom.
Later on in the evening, the groom was blindfolded, spun in circles and was asked to find his bride! The bride didn’t wear a garter, so it was a good thing the photo booth had an extra lei on hand, which was a great substitute for your traditional garter.
