If you couldn’t tell when you walked in the night was going to be full of puzzles, you may have been perplexed. Puzzle piece place cards, Jenga blocks for the guest book, and a photo booth with puzzle photo strip were only a few of the mystifying parts of the wedding reception at Trinity Hall in Chesterton, Indiana.
Puzzle pieces were everywhere – when you walked into Trinity Banquets as the place cards, when you went for a drink they made a heart above bouquets on stanchions. On the grooms cake, on the photo booth’s photo strips, and even on tables that made a full size picture of about 100 pieces.
The photo booth was full all night with many groups and families coming in for some fun. The 4×6 featured a huge photo and 2 others on a bright backdrop with Brittany and Thomas’ photo on the bottom. Brittany brought some brightly colored paper and various color and size Sharpie markers for guests to write in the memory book as they glued in a photo strip.
Guests contemplated what to eat and what not to as there were so many options. Appetizers included double baked potatoes, bruschetta, spinach and artichoke dip on bread, barbeque meatballs, and stuffed mushrooms. Dinner was an even grander spread of penne with pomodoro, Italian sausage and peppers, chicken diablo, pot roast, garlic smashed potatoes, Italian green beans and more. A dessert and coffee bar accompanied the wedding cake and chocolate dipped strawberries.
