Jennifer and Christopher had a lovely time with friends and family at St. Elijah during their reception which included dancing, singing, a hotdog cart swinging by, a visit by another bride and of course, a terrific photo booth.
Christopher and Jennifer held their wedding reception in the room adjacent to the room they had their ceremony in. A fall theme swaddled the entire hall in golds, yellows and autumn hues. The guests jumped in the photo booth to enjoy the hilarious props like signs on a stick and feather boas in fall leaf colors.
The strip was a 4×6 design with three photos featuring a fallen leaf motif in the background, Jennifer and Christopher’s name and wedding date. A few of the kids from the wedding sneaked in the booth before it officially started and had a great time before the adults caught on. As for the strips, guests took one home as a keepsake, and left one in the memory book for the newlyweds.
The bride from next door, an old friend, stopped on over to visit and popped in the booth to snap a few pictures. A hotdog cart made a stop as well outside the hall, as the bride grabbed a dog with her wedding party.
The grand entrance was made and dinner was served. On the table, guests received a favor in the form of a bulb, which read, “plant this bulb and watch it bloom, just like love of this bride and groom”. Toasts were given and dinner was a feast of perch, red potatoes, chicken fettuccine, Italian sausage, green beans and bacon.
A slideshow was displayed for all to enjoy, showing a photo of their child together with a shirt on that said “Mommy, will you marry Daddy?” A beautiful tribute to love was sung in the form of “Wind Beneath My Wings.”
