Kylee celebrated her 8th grade graduation in a very special way; with a blacklight party. A complete transformation of the Knights of Columbus in Griffith, Indiana was in order as blacklight decor, food, photo booth, and dj arrived for the party.
The walls were covered in posters, tables in neon cloths with glow bracelets, neon balloons, and other glow items as centerpieces, the dance floor had blacklight reactive streamers from the ceiling, and guests showed up in neon clothing and accessories. If the clothes weren’t enough, there was a blacklight paint station that people used on their faces, arms, hands and clothes.
A huge spread of food on the back wall included pizza, fried chicken, antipasti salad, potato salad, cookies, cake and more. The dj started off the night with top 40 hits and line dances while keeping the night going strong for everyone mixing in and out of older music.
Horizontal photo strips featured 3 photos tilted slightly in a horizontal view rather than vertical like a traditional photo booth. Neon and fluorescent props like pixelated and neon glasses, blacklight hats, and signs fit the party well for the photo booth, snapchat, and the dance floor.
