Admission was free and the ticket booths were charging 25¢ per ticket at Merkley’s Fun Fair which had attractions like the grandstand of raffles, bounce houses and a circus themed photo booth in Highland, Indiana.
Raffles on the grandstand included items donated from many local Highland, Indiana businesses to include Plaza Lanes, Langels, Traditions, Verona Pizza III, Texture Pointe, Family Video, Cakes by Karen, and more.
Guests performed their own vanishing act as they went into the circus themed photo booth with clown noses, huge bowties, giant glasses, and funny hats. Photo strips printed out for the guests to take home to share their experience with other fair goers, family, and friends.
Fun houses by Backyard bouncers helped kids with their trapeze act, the cake walk replaced the grand march and music filled the gym with sound and laughter.
Other attractions around school were face painting, hair feathers, bowling, plinko, bowling, tic tac toe, ladder ball, bean bags, sucker pull, basketball, football throw, buckets and more.
Spectators enjoyed the menu of hot dog, nachos, nacho supreme, cotton candy, walking taco, chips, pop and more. They sat around red, yellow, and blue popcorn and balloon centerpieces in front of the grand stand in the cafeteria.
