Nakia and George married each other in the gazebo off the lake in back of Avalon Manor, just before a mean storm rolled in. The rain could not stop the party though, as the newlyweds and guests rushed into one of the ballrooms to enjoy food, dancing, and photo booth fun.
During the ceremony outside, a piano was delicately played and a singer belted out a lovely rendition of a song by Anthony Hamilton.
After the couple wed, guests rushed back into the Avalon to enjoy the night. A photo booth was sitting in the corner of the hall, complete with custom designed photo strips featuring the bride and groom’s names and a chalkboard theme. Three photos were taken and printed on a 4×6 size paper. Zany props were in full effect, as big glasses, pimp cups, and mustaches on a stick paraded across the prints on guests.
A sweets table and even a table full of donuts delighted party goers with a delicious snack after dinner to fuel their photo booth fun.
A cupcake tower decked out in orange frosting tempted everyone all night. Orange and black was all over the hall, from vests and ties to bouquets and table settings. Guests piled in and out of the booth, along with Nakia and George. Guests took a strip home as a keepsake, and one remained for the two love birds in a guest book. Later in the evening “The Little People” came and performed for the wedding guests, causing chuckles and amusement all around.
