Sandra’s sweet 16 birthday party was a trip down the rabbit hole for all her guests, with a Wonderland celebration that included yummy food, a DJ, awesome decorations and of course, an Alice in Wonderland themed photobooth at St. Demetrios Church in Hammond, Indiana.

“We’re all mad here!,” that’s what guests were surely saying to themselves while entering the wonderland themed sweet 16 celebration. The hall was primped all around with touches of “wonderland” inspired motifs. A sign welcoming guests to wonderland was at the entrance of the hall, complete with a cast of “mad” characters from the much-beloved movie.

Tables were decorated with checkerboard table clothes and each one had a different unique centerpiece made of a hat inspired by Alice in Wonderland. A gift card box in the shape of a treasure chest was signed by guests as they partied all evening.

A photo booth was there to take snaps of the shenanigans throughout the night, while guests donned side-splitting horse masks, along with rabbit ears, crowns and a bevy of other cheeky props.

The photostrip was a delightful teal and black creation with the words “We’re All Mad Here” at the top and a Cheshire Cat’s glowing eyes and teeth. Guests took three photos in color, and a strip home as a memory. One was left for Sandra in a memory book with well wishes.

Fruit trays, tons of greek desserts and other finger foods delighted guests. Salad, chicken, ribs, spanakopita, and pasta filled everyone’s bellies. The birthday cake was a three layer topsy-turvy design in red, black and white. It featured dangling hearts, spades, clubs and diamonds. Sandra blew out her candles as guests clapped and sang happy birthday. Greek line dancing filled the evening as the DJ played tunes to entertain the crowd.
