Alicia and Chris’s Rustic Wedding | Lansing Country Club | Lansing, Illinois | Photobooth

Lansing Country Club was host to a sweetheart rustic wedding where dance-offs, grog, photobooth and patriotism was abundant as two U.S. Army soldiers tied the knot.

An intimate outdoor ceremony was held, decorated with rural inspired twig hearts, flowers, glowing country jars and blue beads. After saying “I do”, the wedding party and guests moved inside to enjoy cocktails at the sunset lounge.

Glowing centerpieces and blue trimmed flowers dotted the interior. A square tiered fondant cake was decorated in blue ribbon with a cascade of flowers. After enjoying family style dinner, a unique toast was made with grog, a combination of multiple liquors from around the world signifying the bride and grooms heritage.

Throughout the night, multiple toasts were given to the bride and groom as well as in honor to the servicemen who gave their lives to defend the country. Dance-off’s took over the floor as the DJ played, prompting some to pull out the roger rabbit, the worm, and the peculator.

A photobooth was there to snap photos of the guests, offering the option of black and white or color photos. Guests took home a custom designed photo strip with three photos and a heart background put one in a memory book for Alicia and Chris. Props for the photobooth gave the guests a chuckle, featuring sparkly mustaches and lips, sombreros, Army hats, giant glasses, and maracas.
