Jackie and Olivier shared a beautiful day and evening with friends and family as they tied the knot outside in an intimate ceremony in Valparaiso, Indiana. They then retired back to the Aberdeen Manor Ballroom to party into the night with excellent food, drinks, dancing and photobooth.
The outdoor ceremony in the courtyard of the Aberdeen Manor Ballroom was sweet and humorous. Jackie and Olivier exchanged vows before family and friends as the pastor gave a funny yet heartfelt sermon and married the two love birds.
After the ceremony guests went inside the ballroom to enjoy cocktails and the wedding party went off to take photos. Guests devoured finger foods like bruschetta and chicken fingers while waiting for the grand entrance to start. In the corner of the room a photobooth sat snapping pictures of guests mingling and providing them with the choice of color or black and white photos.
The strip was a grey and pink custom creation featuring Jackie and Olivier’s names and the Eiffel tower with the date. Guests took a strip home and left one in the memory book for the newlyweds.
Grand entrances happened, couples walking in one by one as guests clapped. The bride and groom cut their four tier fondant cake with an “M” on top, and gently fed one another.
The tables of the room were covered in tall vases holding large bouquets, and votive candles sprinkled through out. Peach uplighting behind the head table made for an elegant display. Dinner was a plated feast of salad, steak, potatoes while dessert consisted of cake and yummy choices from the candy table at the back of the room.
The first dance happened, as mother-son and father-daughter dances followed soon after. The dance floor exploded with people partying and shaking a tail feather. The night finished out with people dancing and snapping more photos in the photobooth.
