A little rain did not put a damper on Jen’s Sweet 16 at Centennial Park in Munster with a photobooth, slideshow, games, tacos, and homemade cake.
Even though it rained right before the party the wind and sunshine dried everything up. The shelter provided shade from all the sun while the wind and sun dried up the grass for Kanjam, bags, wiffle ball, football and other games everyone was playing. The wind also kept the temperature down on the sunny day.
Under the shelter was a slideshow that was created by one of Jen’s friends as a surprise. Taquizas Los Portales cooked up some delicious pork, steak, and chicken tacos along with sauces to put on them. Everyone sang happy birthday as Jenny cut the American Shorthair cat cake.
Photobooth was nearly blown over but the guests were blown away by the props and photo strips. Three color photos inside hombre frames sat on top of a blue and purple strip that had “Jen’s Sweet Sixteen” on it. Props included glasses, boas, leis, neon animal print hats, and more. Guests loved getting extra copies when they went in with large groups of friends.
