Lighthouse restaurant in Cedar Lake, Indiana held one stylish soiree, as Kelsey and Blake celebrated their love with an elegant but wild night of fun with a photoboooth and dancing.
Kelsey and Blake chose to have an elegant and understated cocktail reception because they, “liked to keep things simple and fun”. Kelsey’s dress reminded one of old Hollywood, and the chic chalkboard designs around the hall smacked of charming English countryside. Wine bottles adorned the entrance to the hall, branded with Kelsey and Blake’s name. A Candy table doused with light from the sunset enticed guests.
Horderves were served to guests including such fair as eggrolls, bruscheta, wings in sauce, and various pastries. Drinks and merriment were had by all, as the DJ called in the wedding party one by one. Kelsey and Blake then did a huge line of shots from the wedding party, to get the night started, and then headed to the dance floors center for their first dance. The funny couple quickly tired of their first dance song and requested something “they could really dance too”, prompting the whole dance floor to be overtaken with one wild crowd of dancers. After dancing, folks made their way over to the photobooth, which featured three photos and choice of black and white or color images.
The photostrip matched the chalkboard theme of the night and Kelsey created a chalkboard to add to the prop table which included sparkly hats, goofy glasses, mustaches on a stick and of course everyone’s favorite, the hotdog hat! Guests filtered in and out of the booth to the dance floor and back again all night. Hilarious and touching moments were captured in the booth, and slightly naughty comments and photos were scribbled on the chalkboard which kept the happy couple giggling all night. Family members were so in love with the photos they were going to use their photos for Christmas cards!
