The night was stellar for attendees of La Lumiere’s Oscar Night Prom in Michigan City, Indiana as guests enjoyed a photobooth and got that “paparazzi” movie star treatment feeling all night long.
Stars hung on the walls for every senior attending the prom, making their name famous and tying in with the theme of “A Night With The Stars” held at the Krueger Memorial Hall. The venue was perfect for hanging out and enjoying conversation, with an outside deck available for the party goers. Although no one won an Oscar that night for best picture, every guest received a replica to take home of the golden statue.
Red shirts and blue Blues Brothers glasses were handed out to students attending as favors. A photographer was there to capture the red carpet couples with a backdrop decorated with gold streamers, stars on the ground and golden poles giving that Hollywood ambiance.
A DJ was in the house, prompting the kids to dance so hard the floor was shaking, feeling like a Cali quake!
The photobooth was a crowd pleaser all night long. Students filed in and out taking color photos four at a time. The photo strip was an elegant design featuring La Lumiere’s school logo in silver, along with red stars. The divas and divos of the night enjoyed a great selection of props like mustaches on a stick, sequin top hats, funny signs, feather boas and party rock sunglasses.
