Tanisha and Richie’s wedding reception at the Radisson Hotel at Star Plaza in Merrillville, Indiana was one very special evening. The night was filled with floating leaf projections on the walls, golden uplighting, a massive dance floor, plenty of food, drinks and a photobooth to capture all the fun.
The Celebrity Ballroom West was the place to be that night. After a beautiful indoor ceremony, guests filtered into the ballroom to find their seats, and enjoy cocktails. The hall was clad in golden hues, champagne colors and dark browns. A photobooth was in the corner of the ballroom waiting for dinner to end and guests to adore it. Tables glittered with treat boxes and fortune cookies. The vases on the tables were clear with elegant golden twigs inside and a ball of golden flowers above.
Everyone was invited to welcome the wedding party, a huge train of over 24 people entered, spotlighted by the DJ. Guests stood and clapped as the DJ announced the newlyweds Tanisha and Richie, and they danced in to Jay Z’s “Bring Em Out.” The cake was a beautiful creation of ivory colored fondant, rhinestones and ribbons. Tanisha and Richie proceeded to cut the cake and feed each other lovingly.
Dinner was served after cake cutting, and guests enjoyed an exquisite salad, mashed potatoes, chicken and pineapple ham. Touching toasts filled the guests ears, and when dinner finished the first dance happened. Tanisha also wowed the crowd and brought joy to Richie by singing a wonderful rendition of The Power Of Love by Celine Deon.
As this was happening guests started to crowd into the photobooth enjoying the shenanigans of the props. Giant cowboy hats, glasses, feather boas and more decorated party goers as they took three color or black and white photos on a custom designed strip. The strip featured a monogram and was in truffle brown and champagne.
